There is a website called HowToDoThings.com, where you can earn money as a freelance writer. I submitted an article there on Sept. 15th, 2009. I didn't promote it, or link to it at all. As of January 31st, 2010, (4 1/2 months later) my article had 239 views.

When you apply to write for this website, you will list your areas of expertise. You are originally approved for up to 3 areas, but you can always apply for more later.
